"How I Got Started Into Healing"
In Martha's own words:
When I walked up to the desk to register for the April 2000 Convention of Ozark Research Institute, Gladys McCoy said to me, "Martha, you are to be our number one speaker. Harold McCoy is ill and you are selected to take his place. So I looked at his title of his talk advertised and I said I wish to do the same. "How I got started into Healing". I spoke with ease and joy. The holy spirit knew what each soul in the audience of approximately 200-250 wished to let themselves enjoy and feel special about. I received a standing ovation. Tears of humbleness came and I was so grateful.

SW Dowsing Conference, Flagstaff AZ Oct. 2000
"The Alchemy of Sacred Living"
This is the story of how I was chosen to be a speaker at the SW Dowsing Conference in Flagstaff, AZ, Oct. 2000. The first of Sept. 2000 I was walking out the door. I was already registered to be at the Flagstaff Conference and attend Jerry Thomas's workshop. The telephone rang and my friend there said, "Martha, will you be a speaker at the ASD Flagstaff Conference? I see you are to be here." I said yes and she said Thank you. I found out that Jerry Thomas was ill and I was to speak in his place. I was confronted by the manager of the Conference who told me this was her first time to let anyone speak whom she had not heard, and did not know, but my friend had told her she would not be disappointed. After this talk, she and her two helpers told me I was the highlight of the Conference. I was thankful for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

"Automobile Stories"
I went to a class at the convention and the teacher didn't show up--a mix up of times. One of the other people in the class went to Gladys and asked her if I could take that teacher's place. She agreed. Several in the group had heard me before and had heard how I healed my own automobile. They asked me to tell my complete stories of my automobile healing.

"Honor Nature and Nature Will Honor You"
The main speaker for the evening was stranded at an airport and could not get to the convention. Harold McCoy said, "I am asking Aclen to play his flute and then introduce you." Again I stood in the Presence for what my talk should be and I chose Honor Nature and Nature Will Honor You. I shared my experiences of Tornadoes, keeping things dry in the back of my pickup and others, including being on the farm growing up.

"Straight From the Heart"
It took real strength through the Power of the Presence to keep my control and speak on this date. The following is my story.
On February 13, 2002, my daughter, Ann, was found ablaze in front of the fireplace. She was rushed to the burn center by helicopter to the Parkland Hospital. I was called by a friend when my son-in-law was on his way to the hospital. When I talked to him later, he told me Ann had 38% of her body in 2nd and 3rd degree burns. She would possibly lose her left ear and have difficulty using her left hand. I did not accept this and immediately began helping her where she was. I stayed at her house while I attended the conference but didn't see her until the day after the conference ended. She was in Intensive Care until April, and then went back in May for skin grafts. Had five of them. She did not lose her left ear. It looked normal except for one notch on the edge. She had good use of her left hand.
